Idle ideas:
Atttune is replaced with Vibe, where you just kinda naturally trip over things that are useful to you (or inconvenient, on a failed roll)
Each score is a Landmark, in-between landmarks you're On The Road and downtime actions take place when it's that player's turn to drive the car
New faction: The Locals. When you would gain Rep with them you instead tick the Assist clock and when you would lose Rep with them you instead tick the Retribution clock. When either respective clock is full a recurring character from a previous town enters the scene to help/hinder your efforts
Stress is Gas and represents your chars burning bright with passion - or burning themselves out by pushing themselves too hard. When you use it all up you're Out of Gas
Your car has a healthbar that represents both damage and fuel, etc. If it's empty at any point during On The Road (downtime) you have to Push the Car, and either consume downtime actions to get to the next repair place or pay coin/rep to call for a tow
