Wow, this is really cool looking. I've been meaning to go back and play again what with how much new stuff you've added, but was waiting a bit to do a fresh run entirely (and instead I badgered a friend into playing it so I could watch). But this mode looks like a super neat way to play around with a whole new experience of the basic shopkeeping structure. Exciting!
Making someone else play is an excellent strategy.
I'm hoping this new mode will make it easier for people to jump into the game.
