between Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's endless beta with no release date and Fantasy Life i being delayed from october to "unknown", it's real "level-5, are you okay" times around here

both games are supposed to have their release dates announced during their "summer 2024" showcase event that was delayed from april this year and still has no scheduled date less than a month from the end of summer

Still thinking about how in late 2022 they showed a Inazuma trailer where the gameplay was pretty much like old games (with time pausing and drawing movement lines), and then the next year they showed a new trailer that was like "actually nevermind, it's all real-time action now"

After playing the Brand New Content that was added for Megaton Musashi Wired, the Final Edition of The Game that finally was released worldwide and quote-unquote finishes the story for real this time, all I will say is

nobody, nobody should be holding their breathes for any of the currently announced L5 sequels
(And don't get me started on the PvP focus of the new Inazuma)

Fantasy Life not changing or adding a single minigame for the crafting lifes and purely adding ONE life - that is also crafting - while continuously focusing all of its marketing on terraforming while so much of the original's appeal is going to different cities with different cultures, fashion and architecture, getting to know people from different walks of life (heh) and not Animal Crossing-ing them to your own village also feels like a massive disappoitment (no, I am not salty at how bad Inafune showed the game off last year, why do you ask?)

Only game I am looking forward to is Decapolice because of the TGS impressions last year, which really talked it up - I was not into the trailers either.
