Were you ever terrified of being in a fight when you first joined the Korps, Mum Mabel, when you were leaping from rooftop to rooftop or onto the pavement below, even when your footing was sure and your training sufficed your safety?"

Mabel taps a bit of ash from her cigar before taking another draw, considering the question.
"It would be foolish not to be nervous darling!" the cougar states plainly as she exhales. "Even with all of the information, and all of the training, things can go wrong. But you shouldn't be scared of yourself, and you shouldn't be scared of what you are capable of. Be conscious of the fear, and of yourself, and push through it."
