It's wish fulfilment. Seeing someone get to live the dream. To get to have the body I can't, to get to just let someone else take control for a while, to just let go.

The sub smashing in mental thought brought humour to the writing.
I still love seeing top drop. Seeing Dominant partners need after care as well. More than anything else (even as I type this I'm not sure, but as much as maybe?), that little nod that carrying someone else's burdens for a while takes a toll.

Geode whimpered, having not even been given the option to drink. She would have, she thought fiercely. She was a good pony. That conclusion brought further shame and humiliation to the mare, and she found herself fervently vowing to show Dawn just how good she could be. She distantly realized that her ability to feel shame was being worn away, in that moment, dissipating like a bad dream.
I love this paragraph.
