MEDIEVAL AU VERSION OF YOUR KORPS OCs GO

Oh. Oh okay. Oh fuck oh shit [LOUD KLAXON IN THE HEADSPACE] LOOK ALIVE EVERYONE IT'S HAPPENING [various scrambling animal noises]

  • Andréa Mason
Andréa The Ironclad. No one has seen the wolfess out of her armor in ages. She used to take it off a lot, but after a disappearance of two years, she returned in full plate. What the kingdom doesn't know about this knight is a dark god's curse made her a dullahan, turning her body to a living suit of armor. She kept her head, but if her armor comes unbuckled it'll come off like any other Dullahan. Luckily she's too good a knight for anyone to care about the 24/7 Plate wearing. Turns out not having meat inside you makes a set of armor fast as hell.
  • Karinne Ceprano
Her Majesty Karinne, Queen of Thunder. Still on her shapeshifting dragon bullshit. Masqueraded as a normal person to seduce a her way into being a Queen, then once her position was secured, shapeshifted back into her draconic form, ate her King, and seized the throne. She is a well-respected ruler, and also no one is brave enough to even attempt dethroning her. Ravenous, requiring much food and sex to keep herself sated. Portrait of excess. Keeps various hoards as the royal treasures.
  • Jane Wick
Jane Makavel. Royal spymaster. Lost an arm to the same Dark God that cursed her sister, but replaced it with an ancient relic of stone and wood. Still known as the Matron Saint of Blades, she is just as often the silent claw of Karinne, defending the kingdom at any cost from external and internal threats. Rumors of her witchcraft are many and consistent, but the crown turns a blind eye to them.
  • Miranda "Mia" Blackstar
Miranda Arathy. Knight pledged to the Queen of Thunder. Known for ridiculously large and heavy swords, but somehow terrifyingly adept at wielding them. Also known for the Rosegold tint of her armor. Secretly a necromancer, specializing in the magic of bones and chitin. Despite her oath, she carries a deep hatred for royalty and plans to slay Karinne when the chance arises.
  • Daisy Shahor
Prince Exorcia. Spellsword adept from a northern seafaring nation. Born a woman, underwent sacred rituals from his birthplace to become a man. Traveled the world for a while. Bethrothed to Andréa the Ironclad. Knows her secret. Doesn't care. Oft found practicing his arts and harassing the court musicians to "play something darker." His channeling sword is named "Unveiler".
  • Thomas Magruder
Tsomasz. Enigmatic captain of the guard from an unknown kingdom far across the great seas. Underwent the same rituals as Prince Exorcia, rare for an outsider. The two are bitter rivals for reasons unexplained. Tasked with outfitting and training Karinne's armies, he is a master of both armed and unarmed combat. As in any universe, refuses to button or tie closed his shirts.
  • Kinley Selbourne
Kindalay. From a monastic order deep within the snowy mountains northeast of the kingdom, deeply revered for their strength and unarmed combat skill. Serves as Karinne's Chief Strategist, as part of a truce with the mountain clans and monasteries. Due to her size and strength and the durability of her scales, known to tangle with knights and mounted units without weapons or armor. Actively exploiting the loophole of monastic celibacy by bedding any willing woman in the kingdom.
  • Senton Hughes
Senton. Page to Andréa the Ironclad. Cursed by an unknown entity to wake up with a different body shape every morning. Knows Andréa's secret. Would die for her. Somehow sees to Andréa's more carnal needs when Exorcia is away. Don't ask how it works, I haven't thought that out yet. Put through the ringer by just about everybody, but somehow muddles through.
  • Joyce Harrow
The Harvester. Assassin. Famed for use of scythes. Hired now and again by Jane, rumored to be the only person Lady Makavel actually fears. Secretly a Lich, giving gravity to the rumors that she eats the souls of her targets. Probably the one who trained Miranda in Necromancy. They remain very close as...roomcryptmates.
  • The Assistant
Lady Makavel's right hand...someone. still as ambiguous in gender and appearance as always. Endlessly helpful, endlessly unmemorable. It has all the advantages it always had, and they use it to the fullest.
  • qzvRrikc--n’Va_l
Riks' original visual description is so antithetical to any convention of design that they slot just as well into high fantasy as shi does science fiction. Love that weird bird golem deer thing. His dad's from Fantasy Winnipeg.
  • Lex Strong
Alexandra the Archivist. Responsible for one of Karinne's dragon hoards, a massive collection of tomes and scrolls and artifacts. Still has her "passenger" of a demon, who mostly just helps her stay on top of cataloging and warning her of danger. And since Lex is never not on her bullshit, she's the character clearly from the present day who got stuck in the past, is trying to keep everyone from this time period from noticing, but also signalling to anyone from her own time that she's also from 2023.
  • Chase Cassidy Laine
Chase has never thought about this one before! They need some time, and they'll get back to you.
  • Jack Haveck
Haveck refuses to be in any world without pizza and baseball. End of story.
  • Minerva Sommers
Much of Minerva's backstory as a fae and how she earned the name Fire Witch actually date to this time period, since it's implied she pulled some strings in the whole King Arthur affair, but she refuses to be part of an AU if Haveck's not present.
  • Harvey Adler and Seras Frame-Gestalt
Both of these characters are so far in the future and so ingrained in sci-fi settings they will not work here.

I think that's most of them!
