It makes me a bit sad that these days i feel the need to omit nipples from my drawings because of how much people decided to bother me about it. It feels very strange to be told off about it, especially in furry spaces... I thought people were better than this
And i do not even mean the "female-presenting nipples" nonsense, that is another can of worms altogether.. just having visible nipples was enough to bother people, and i cannot understand the reason. It was not sexual.. it is just a body part..
I used to draw myself with nipples because i think they are cute but these days it makes me feel embarrassed because i think people are going to think it is a fetish (and even if it was! That should be okay! Why does it matter to you?!) and once people decide in their head it is a fetish or a kink or sexual it becomes okay to disturb me about it somehow
