The sky looks ill. Sweet, foul-smelling gases bubble beneath the earth and rise to the surface, taking to the air and maintaining spherical shapes. To call this place “alien” would be both an understatement and factually untrue. It isn’t some other dimension or planet, though you’ve seen your fair share that look somewhat like this… maybe even suspiciously similar to this. It is simply a place on the Earth’s surface that has been changed. How quickly it happened, and how long ago, it’s impossible to say. The thought of something so drastic being a recent development is cause for much concern, though.
