We’re a system of 50+ gender-fluid furries obsessed with transformation, clothing, costumes, gender, magic, and the ways they interact.
Most of us are humans, and we all seem to change back to our “default forms” over time, even recovering from transformations that would otherwise be permanent.
The doors to the Nonsense-Castle, our headspace, are always open to visitors, so feel free to swing by via our ask box! Transform a headmate, or strike up a conversation, or present some cool magical item or idea, or start an entire Plot Arc, or whatever!

enters the nonsense-castle oblivious to all the shapeshifting going on
Hi there, I heard there were a lot of wizards here, and I was wondering if you had any advice for learning magic-
Ooh those blankets look so soft! You mind if I…
wraps one of the blanket critters around self, unaware as to what happens next
Wow, this is really sof- did it just say hi to me? I didn’t know y’all had sentient blankets here! I… wait, why do I feel weird
flops over as legs flatten out
awkwardly stands up on newly stuffed hindpaws, takes a second to find a comfortable way to position newly floppified legs
looks at paws, then rest of body
Wha… why do I feel so… I just wanna..
picks up big, cushy tail and holds it close
Yeah.. why does this feel so good? I… yeah…
This is weird, but… I like it…
Anyway, any advice for new magic users like me?
Hehe, this is comfy…

💎 I think it’s very important to find your “thing”! Something you especially like or are especially good at. Now, I’m not saying you should only focus on this one thing. It’s just good to find it because it’ll make it feel special. It’ll feel like “your thing”. It will create excitement for you around your magic, and that enthusiasm will make your magic stronger!

When you’re more experienced, you can take this a step further and invent your own spell. It takes a lot of studying to put together all the magic in all the right ways, but once you have a working spell that’s uniquely yours, it just feels like reaching a whole new level. Here’s mine, by the way! It’s called “zipstring”.

A thin string, like a fishing line, attaches itself to her hat, the other end simply fading away into thin air. The string retracts quickly and then releases, taking the hat off her head and sending it airborne. More strings appear, grabbing onto the hat and releasing it, tossing it about, and then, finally, they set it back down on her head.

It’s kind of a Spider-Man/Stone Free thing, I guess. Had to study spiderfolk magic, and… a lot of other things… It was absolutely worth it, though!

Thanks for the ask, this was a fun one! And um. Let me know if you need your form adjusted or reverted or anything like that.
