Anyways, I guess the “pet” thing is kinda similar to the “extension of self, but it carries out more beast-like impulses and desires” idea, which I like! Like if one being was both fully sapient and fully creacher-brained at the same time, with the creacher-brain acting through the tailmaw. That’s what I imagine, anyways. Neat idea! Only mildly horrifying! In the best kind of way, I think, or at least a very good one.
The less it acts like you, though, the closer it gets to simply being another entity entirely…
