When Val was transformed into a beatbeast, part of her villainous boss theme demanded conquest and control, leading her to transform some onlookers into creatures like this. Fortunately(?) that situation didn’t last long enough for us to find out what these underlings were like or what they were capable of. They’ve since changed back.

Most of us are humans, and we all seem to change back to our “default forms” over time, even recovering from transformations that would otherwise be permanent.
