L: O-oh! Thank you! takes it
I’m just gonna… put this… s-somewhere… Let me know if it starts with any of those side effects! and describe in detail shut up
So the orb is based on a cosmic dragon’s orb. And by based on, I mean I traded some stuff to a comic dragon in exchange for them to split one of their uninhabitable galaxies off their universe and into a sub orb. Interestingly, the dragons the orb turns people into tend to resemble the cosmic dragon I got it from.
The orb is ethereal to the touch, letting you know that you are touching it, without really letting you know how it feels to touch. Soon iridescent bands begin to snake out from the orb, curling around your arms and leaving shimmering scales that seem to change color in time with magic moving across you. As it reaches your body, you can feel yourself lengthen a few inches along with a thin and dexterous tail that extends to the floor. As the scales cover your legs and pushes your face into a snout, your stance changes into a quadrupedal one, forcing you to fall onto all fours. Then wings tear through your cloths, revealing two pairs of gossamer purple wings giving the impression of stained glass, and looking fragile enough to break at a touch despite the fact they are clearly strong enough to tear through fabric without a hint of damage. Finally some golden jewelry forms across your body, providing a contrast of solid color against the shifting scales, even though much of it is hidden by the scraps of clothing still covering your body. With the end of the transformation you can also notice that the orb is float nearby you, and that when you move it follows you, keeping close by without being obnoxious.
