Draego leaned over to his left and whispered to one of his new traveling companions. "Does she take that everywhere she goes?" He pointed at the small stuffed bear hanging at the belt of their front line fighter who was tearing through a massive pork chop.

The short wizard shrugged her shoulders. "I've been around her for a few months now and it doesn't leave her side."

"Doesn't it get dirty?"

"I've seen it get soaked in goblin blood, dragged through the muddy waters of Temeno River, and splashed by acid bombs. I assumed at first she was mending it herself but I've never caught her casting spells or washing it or anything." The wizard took a more careful bite of her meal.

"And you never questioned her about it?" Draego frowned.

The two watched the tall, muscle-covered woman chomp down straight through a hambone with a crack. She grinned and adjusted the five foot tall greateaxe on her back. There was a black streak from where a necromancer had once sent a dark bolt through the axe head and grip; the rest of the handle was stained red from countless fights. Her shield was heavily dented and dirtied from her love of bashing her enemies. The stuffed bear was, in contrast, impeccably clean and soft. The wizard looked up at Draego. "Do you really want to question her?"

Draego quickly shook his head and turned back to the stew that their traveling companion had cooked up from the great boar she had slain. Slurrrrp.
