makita is releasing a portable microwave that runs off the same battery as its powertools (like you take the battery out of your power drill and plug it into the microwave)

Ryobi makes a hand vacuum that uses their battery system, its really nice to not have to throw away a bunch of plastic when a battery cell that you cant remove dies.
