this is basic shit but i'm still very excited abt it- so for christmas, my sister's getting a set of 3 pink shimmery glittery nail polishes, my brother is getting this cute beanie hat with penguins on it, and i just bought my dad a set of ancient roman coins.
i feel like i've been on a fucking ROLL with gifts these past couple years but my mom poses a challenge. last year i got her a mounted shrew skull, and while i think she appreciates it, she doesn't look at it too often, and the gift from two years ago was a memorial piece for my old cat, so this year i'm very [thinking emoji]
my initial instinct was to go for either the entire area x series by jeff vandermeer but that feels like it could be SUCH a miss... did get the idea though from scrolling through here to make her a little clay figurine of one of our pets,,, maybe....
