so the house resolution to codify into law that "anti-Zionism is antisemitism" passed today. there is now also a bill being introduced (HR 6578) for a congressional body/committee for investigating / studying antisemitism and its causes. in which people can be subpoenaed to testify for antisemitic activities. under this committee you supposedly can't plead the 5th either.

theyre seeing the thousands of people supporting Palestine in the west after decades of hard intentional work by Palestinians, academics, activists, & antizionists to bring consciousness of the occupation to the public population and they know they must crack down on it
the united states is rolling out; large mask bans, codifying antizionism as antisemitism, now a committee to "study antisemitism", all in the past ... 72 hours? they're seeing and hearing the response. they can do things and change it. so theyre locking it down.
if they have the power to make the pro-Palestine fight in the US harder for US residents, they have the power to withdraw US support of the occupation & the genocide. and they dont. and its intentional.
