i recently caught Rumbo Mercy's video on the 100 heads challenge, i was like, okay, i'm not doing too many physical sketches lately, and could use some retraining so i'm not so reliant on the horizontal flip tool. plus, i wanted to use a brush pen that i couldn't really get to work well for me before just to get some more practice in.
the idea is you do 10 portraits a day for 10 days.
"fuck it" i thought, "i'm not afraid of portraits" so i did 5-minute timed studies and was Immediately humbled by fucking, diffuse light.
i did do 10 of them, but decided to just do 8 per spread, tomorrow you'll see the other two and 6 more from that day's, and so on.
As promised- 2 from yesterday, 6 from today, and again i'm dreading showing those on the next page tomorrow lol
Day 3! Plus half of day 2. Tomorrow I think I’ll have to post two images to keep up.
rest of day 3 plus all of day 4! i had some portraits i really did not want to do in this batch as you can probably tell.
hoooooo boy, lots of sculptures in this one, and tough angles. it's done, though, and we're halfway there!
Bro I am getting kinda sick of drawing sculptures instead of people. Also I fucked up the numbering here again lol.

thank you!!! i'm really gonna try to make it to the end- hopefully the payoff will be worth it
