i caved last night and ordered an xbox core controller + a pair of usb-c connectors, will report back whenever they get here.
Honestly really happy USB-C has started to be the mainstream for game controllers. I’ve always had poor luck with micro usb.
When I'm actively playing games that use a controller, I probably run through one of these every couple of months. I've just noticed that the Xbox Core controller uses USB-C, so..... I think it might be time to retire the old xbone controller I'm using and upgrade after the cable I just ordered dies.
