barbara stanwyck had me confused on what her endgame was for the entire runtime. she was playing an incredibly complex game of 5D chess with henry fonda's emotions.

Watched this with @whom and had a wonderful time. Henry Fonda plays what is possibly the most gaslit man of all time, his character needs some real therapy after what they end up doing to him in this film.
