i think going forward i'm only going to make write-ups for maps that i particularly enjoy or feel like i have something to say about, or if i write a full blown review and stuff like that. doing little blurbs for every map isn't really a bad thing per se, but i remembered that I used to do this elsewhere for singular doom maps, and... it ends up making it feel more like homework or a job, trying to force words for something that i liked (but didn't really have anything substantial to say about), disliked (but not in an especially interesting way), or felt neutral about.

this is my post bitching about how i ordered a controller over a week ago, it was set and supposed to be delivered yesterday, and then i suddenly got an email that it was "out of stock" and the order had been refunded. thanks, i guess.

realized i never posted the conclusion to this: i ordered the exact same controller from the same vendor when i got home, it gave me a shipping date expectancy of like, the 18th. it arrived two days earlier, on the 16th. still have no idea what the hell happened with that first one

final verdict: death to micro-usb, hail usb-c. after using this for a few days I have come to the rational conclusion that we need to eradicate micro-usb from standard use as soon as possible.
