I mean I’ve written dungeon core stories before (where the main character is a sentient crystal controlling the dungeon) but maybe I just write one about a lesbian going to dungeon management school working on her final project of actually founding a dungeon.
So I've talked about my books a lot here but I've also been very careful not to actually link my books. That's because they are all tied to my deadname and I really, really wanted to start a new project, with a new pen, and write stuff that's adjacent to what I wrote before but now is queer.
I have an idea for this. A solid one. A sapphic idea that's all about found family and acceptance and being gay and running and dungeon and about getting to be who you really are. I'm gonna of course draw inspiration from Dungeon Meshi (yes, I have read it all, and I'm gonna make sure this is very different), but also from the entire Dungeon Core Genre (A few of them have sapphic protagonists already and honestly all of my favorite examples have women leads), and also really get into my favorite thing ever: being autistic about weird monster ideas and being so very normal about people having monster forms.
Plot will likely be very small scale and cozy.
I need to come up with a plan to make sure I can get it to you all, given how many people have shown interest.
For now, make sure you're following me in as many places are you're still using, and...I'm gonna try really hard to get this rolling as one last goodbye to Cohost, get a chapter 1 up and running and start this off.
Stay tuned, I guess?
Gotta love deadline pressure, it's the only way my ADHD brain gets anything done.
