could be literally anywhere else in the country gone from this rural shithole for good

but noooo I'm here at age 34 living with my parents dealing with this because this economic system isn't designed for people like me to even earn enough to live elsewhere in the country risk-free

this shit has to change for the better within the next 5 years or so

I'm tired of it sliding the wrong way and being told "no, it's gonna get worse"

this shit is not sustainable to the point it's going to have to stop sooner than later

try to be as nice as I can to my last two living grandparents (both on my Mom's side) but I don't know why I bother if this is all that sets them off and also gets my granddad to threaten to kick me out (which, no. I have the right to be wherever I want)

I get someone talking to me and tells me he's concerned because I "look agitated"

and I'm not even trying to look anything except someone trying to vibe on his phone

like do I have to go out of my way to look not-agitated in public? If so, why and how? How do you even test this

guess this is where not having someone to regularly talk with outside of immediate family takes its toll. But it's not like fixing it is easy because: I don't work, I don't go to school, there just aren't good community events where I live which is a rural town 2-3 hours away from a major city in all directions.

Used to I'd save up for a convention just to get the chance to hang out with people I have stuff in common with but that seems impossible anymore because there's always one more thing I need/want to buy, and my laptop is getting old enough soon enough I'll have no choice but to try to put away money for a new one of these, even though they seem so pricey compared to the last time I had to get a new one
