so this came to me in a dream, thought it worth recording somewhere before it fades from memory. I had dreamed I went to a class that I had not been attending in a while (even though I was last registered for a class in 2016), and they were reading some book from the Victorian era/1800s I had never heard of, I'm not sure it is the exact name but it's close if not, let's call it "Cosmocopy". The book was mostly words but had neat illustrations on it, not bad for the 1800s.

It was a high fantasy story about a small red dragon girl who visits a library one day to check out a book, and find a bunch of guards sitting around it looking out for someone. Suddenly, she hears commotion and the guards chasing down the someone through the upstairs library halls; another young red dragon, similar to the girl but is a boy. She feels compelled to help him escape, which makes them have to go into hiding and later flee.

The girl, let's call her Tiliane, and the boy, let's call him Turane, introduce themselves in the meantime. Tiliane is an avid reader, always wanted to go on an adventure but her parents would never let her wander far. Turane seems amnesiac, he recently woke up in this world with no memory of who he is or where he came from. They deduce that the only way to find where he came from is talk to the god of the stars whose temple resides far, far away, so they set off on an adventure.

Along the way, they help out troubled villagers, fight off monsters and town bullies out for themselves, and Turane starts getting visions of space that tell him "come home", and he and Tiliane become closer like siblings. Tiliane reveals she had an older brother that was killed in a battle when she was younger, and she feels that Turane is much like the brother that was taken from her too soon. Eventually though, as they get close to the star god, and even further beyond, the thought of having to split forever starts to loom.

I dare not divulge much further, as I may sit down and write this, but I've never tried to write a novel before, so maybe I'll reveal how it ends later on if I don't.

@Masakuni

maybe I'll rename the title if I work more on this to something like "Brother from the Cosmos" or better yet, "Turane of the Stars" so to still hint where Turane comes from but have a title that doesn't sound like a frickin surgery, come to think of it
