I'm not going to do a deep dive into it all, mostly because I'm not a marine biologist. I'm a furry artist and gamedev, but there is, I feel, a pretty firm baseline of understanding about climate change that non-sociopaths agree on: that it's real, and it's been wrecking shit for a while. A lot of that has manifested in damage to marine ecosystems.
Sharks are beautiful. Reefs are beautiful. Ocean ecosystems are beautiful. Our water planet is beautiful.
People like the above shitstain who kicked the bucket will never comprehend that beauty even if it's explained to them slowly, and they've relied on the fear of cringe to steer people away from environmentalist causes (tree-huggers and the like).
We are in a post-cringe society. It's cool as fuck to love trees and coral reefs and the little critters that live in them. It's cool as fuck to love our planet.
