nah i think you've got it, becoming both less real and markedly more vulnerable
as the art suggests tokens are frequently quick doodles on scrap paper so (while you wouldnt literally redraw all your cards if this was played in a real game) i think you could do a visual simplification thing too. knock you down from a lavishly produced and rendered professional painting to some nerd's marker scribble
