You could always ask for her number or email to stay in touch, especially since ostensibly you would want to use her as a reference in the future.
I have both. I've had her number for a while in case I had questions and she was elsewhere but she gave me her email and everything for reference. I just don't know what boundaries she has in place. I doubt she wants me texting her randomly.
