for the consideration of xenotheologists everywhere: here's the saint I dedicated my Church in the Wild in Fallen London to! because... that's just a thing you can do in Fallen London, just slap a bunch of bones together and convince everyone that it's a very, very real saint.
I liked the concept so much I couldn't resist drawing it :)
it's an "insect skeleton" made before segmented ribcages got nerfed. I built it, dedicated my church to it, went into dreams and whispered of its existence to the Bohemian Sculptress to inspire her (netting a bunch of Verses of the Counter-Creed in the process), and then went back into the real world and sold the thing (on an insect week naturally) at the Bone Market to the Sculptress for rumours of the upper river, which I like to image were all about the church I was building :)
I can't remember exactly how naming worked in-game but I wound up with this being a "St Valentine the Elongated", patron of beekeepers. seems fitting for a church halfway between london and hell.
I used an engraved skull and decided that the engraved symbol should be a correspondence sigil meaning, apparently, "the sensation of having carried out a painstaking task for no particular reason."
again, gotta say, it felt fitting.
