I will give it credit that VMware workstation does make the process of installing drivers easy since they're all built in, I don't gotta go through hoops like Virtualbox with weird trial software for windows 9x display drivers. But outside of that, it's just a virtual machine program, and one that costs money compared to alternatives. I think virtualbox does fine enough with driver installs on anything after windows 2000. Not to mention due to weird bugs with newer hardware, it might just be best to use PCem or 86box for win 9x and older systems. So it's only got one trick that costs money, and I can't capture audio when screensharing it to discord. So yeah, not worth it lol.
