In The Land Before Time XVII: The Tree Leaf Festival, it is revealed that Cera is actually named after שָׂרָה, wife of Abraham. She then demands that, because they are both childless, Littlefoot must produce a son with her handmaiden Hagar (a pachycephalosaurus). This is where the series really gets good.
