Just learned that Goof Troop predated A Goofy Movie and I am surprisingly shocked by this timeline. Like, it makes sense. If I recall Goof Troop has younger middle school Max, while in A Goofy Movie he seems more high school aged, but I just thought this era of Disney was, I don't know, too prestigious to be farming from it's TV offerings? Like, Aladdin and Hercules and Timon and Puumba were all based on the movies, why wouldn't this one be? Also, to my surprise above all others, I think A Goofy Movie is one of Disney's best of the 90s.
