I have pretty much exclusively worn Vans sneakers since high school. A couple times a year I go to one of the outlets and grab a enough pairs to get me though the year. I also have some Sorel boots for the winter and a pair of these velvety loafers with a big gold buckel on it for more formal occassions. I guess what I am saying is I don't exactly consider my footware all that carefully, so I don't know if I am the most authoritative voice on the subject.
Anyway, I have talked about my amazing Sailor Moon sneakers before, but of course I can almost never actually wear them out in fear that they'll get all dirty and gross. These green checkerboard SK8-Hi high tops are nice because they kinda remind me of the Checker Knights stage in Kirby: Air Ride.
