I rewatched it this year and the answer is the world's biggest "yes, BUT..."
like it's fuckin' hilarious but also sometimes it goes too far with the more cruel aspects of its humour
I remember in being a pretty mean show, and I mean that mostly as a compliment. But yeah I recall it being fairly rude in general. I did just see it's on Crunchyroll, soooooo might be time to dip the toes back in...
