I have woken up this morning with a case of the moody blues. I finished The Essential Dykes To Watch Out For this morning and now I am trying to get out the house to get food, but I am finding myself engaged in a fierce moral quandary. If I leave the apartment, I can no longer pretend I am still getting "ready for the day," and there are so many other things that I should be doing today that. Once I'm out, I will have no choice but to engage in being a productive member of society. However, if I stay on the couch all day eating Ritz crackers and peanut butter, then I can pretend I never stood a chance and just goof off all day before being sucked back into the maws of work.
The final decision goes to my stomach, which just literally grew a separate mouth and growled "lamb gyro" at me for real, like that ACTUALLY just happened, so I guess I'll get moving.
