listen I didn't get into them until I was 26. it's cool. I mean they didn't exist until I was in my sophmore year of college but WHATEVER
I rejected them on reputation alone, cause I was in high school and was too cool for them. I listened to real art, like the Spring Awakening Original Broadway Cast recording.
getting into them was my departure from my mid-2000s stint as a low level indie douchebag. they helped me leave behind my fears about being judged for my musical taste. they rule!!
