I do not want the Muppets to be in a Knives Out movie. There is already a perfect Muppet mystery movie. It's called The Great Muppet Caper and is one of the greatest film comedies ever made.

The one exception would be if Benoit Blanc never looks the Muppets in the eye but instead looks directly into the eyes of the Muppet performers just below frame. What, you think he's gonna be fooled by some felt a guy is moving his hand in? He is the last of the gentleman sleuths for God's sake.

I went to see Glass Onion last night and loved it but this isn't about that. This is about the previews before.

One of the trailers was this action movie, real run of the mill fare. Gerald Butler plays some grizzled pilot who is transporting a prisoner played by Mike Colter, the plane crashes in the middle of some war torn country, Gerald and Mike gotta team up and shoot a bunch of people blah blah blah. What I would expect from a movie that proudly brags it's from the producers of Olympus Has Fallen.

But then right at the end, the title card drops.

The wave of laughter that erupted at the reveal will warm my heart for years to come. Movies are back, baby!
