I'm starting to see why this medical practice has such high call volumes.
I've called four times today, got accidentally hung up on twice, was put repeatedly on hold a half-dozen times, and still haven't figured out if the issue with the prior authorization for the procedure next week not being transferred to my new insurance has been straightened out.
This would have been far more easily resolved if they had invited me to the patient portal in the first place, because I could have just sent a fricken message through that.
