Imagine being so sleepy that you start experiencing time non-linearly.
I think going back to sleep has won out over going to the grocery store for more clementines.
It's kind of impressive that VR in 2024 gave up on the best practices that keep people from experiencing simulation sickness.
Like Meta doesn't even bother making sure that the boundaries of the Guardian system is drawn correctly any more, so you have it being drawn over foreground objects that are much closer to the player.
And then passthrough has been a quick trip to nausea city for me. Like I've conducted experiments with passthrough systems over a decade and a half ago that were less nausea inducing.
