Maybe there will be a cool third party thing, but Sony first party has not intrigued me much lately.

Last year's February direct was good, so maybe soon!

Oh also, Bloodborne doesn't really need a remake a ps5 patch would be fine, to be clear.

Hahaha. We have seen countless times that when shit CEO's and higher ups and the like in gaming companies leave and another person takes over that usually at best the person is just as bad as the last person or close to as bad and at worse is even worse then them. The new person whoever they are I can say near definitely will be as bad or worse as Ryan.

I know the probability is close to 0, but Ryan did once admit he knew he fucked up by forgetting about the Japanese market. MAYBE new guy can fix that, if only a little.

Won't be holding my breath of course.

Now I am truly curious what they have in store for the PSVR2 for this Direct.

Its wild that for the year of 2023 the year everybody said was the biggest best year in ages and Xbox had like half or more of their game output for the year being Starfield (lol) and RedFall(lol) and Sony had what one cool puzzle game Humanity and then FF16 which a big chunk of people seemed to find a boring slog and Spiderman 2 that most seem to find has a worse story then the first and that was mostly it for their game output for the whole year as far as I can recall.

I did feel it for the indie side and kinda the AA side since it was nearly every week or every second week of every month had some really cool indie games. But we have had that for the last few years. AAA side was kinda weak in some ways in 2023 when you look at the year as a whole and any year where nearly half the AAA output or at least a third of it was remakes of very old games thats kinda pathethic to me

Sony's State of Play are ways a snooze fest. Like how do you copy Nintendo Directs but make them so boring.

It's like school show-n-tell where someone brings in something awesome and then the next person trys to big up a sheet of paper.
