I played an hour or two and actually did have fun with the combat, but the intro's tone and pace was not Impressing me.

Also I hear they dialed back the motion blur in a patch, thank God.

The problem is Type 0 was a deal where you paid full price for a demo. I doubt it would have sold as well without Episode Duscae, but that just wound up knocking all the wind out of Type 0's sails.

All I remember from that game was the most obnoxious motion blur I had ever seen and being very, very confused at the ending.

Sonic CD Syndrome is very real. If there is a secret unplayed entry in a franchise it has to be amazing. Just not fair otherwise.

I played it, but I can't say it stuck with me. Now I just want to revisit it to compare it with Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Trails of Cold Steel for the "Best portable anime military school RPG" award.

It came with a free hat for Dota 2, so naturally I had to buy it. Never cared for it
