I want one of the Metaphor Refantazio devs to mention Dunbine or Escaflowne so I can point at the screen and say I called it.

Metaphor is the new game by the persona devs and it features a fantasy world with what looks like big robo knights as your personas and features some sort of in game connection to 'the real world'.
I don't think it'll be that similar overall, but I do think those shows might be inspiration.
