It's time! Here's the Demo for v2 of FORGE. Additionally, you can play the old Version 1 of FORGE (for better... or W O R S E) if you want. You can go further in v1 and there's more content, but it also has a lot more time in it. Remember that v2 is a complete ground-up rewrite of FORGE!

FORGE v2.0.0γ
New Features
- The FORGE UI has received a brand-new facelift! New consistent UI elements have been added and core elements now have consistent styling.
- The Quest System has been completely revised, including quest tracking.
- Objectives now update in realtime.
- Quests can have a Completion State where certain things happen after you complete a quest.
- Controls have been redone throughout the game!
- FORGE now focuses on a Mouse and Keyboard control set as its primary focus. The UI does not currently support controllers.
- A new Introductory experience has been created, including a new parts of the starting village.
- FORGE now uses Asset Bundles and supports patching. Patch 1.0.0 contains core items, quests, and narrative data. Patch 2.0.0 contains content exclusive to v2.0.0.

- Several art assets, such as foliage and trees, have been refreshed.
- 3D Audio has been implemented
- A new particle effect has been implemented when a point of interest requires or can accept your attention.
- New Jingles and sounds have been implemented.
Changes
- New animations have been implemented for the player.
- The Starting Village has been renamed Corel Village.
- Corel Village has been redesigned and has a new layout with brand new story elements.
- The Workbench has been removed from Corel Village.
- The Main Menu is now accessible from moving the mouse cursor to the lefthand side of the screen.
- The Resource HUD is now visible when the Inventory is open and when the player moves their cursor to the top left side of the screen.
- The Inventory UI has been completely redone and now no longer uses Flyouts.
- Crafting UIs now no longer take the entire screen up and instead are relegated to a window popup.
- Woodworking's UI has been implemented and now uses new art.
- The player's base movement speed has been increased.
- All interactable objects now use a centralized Action Trigger system to allow greater iteration times and designer flexibility.
- The Calendar UI has been removed.
- Additional explorable buildings have been placed in Corel Village.
- The Forge has been moved to the opposite side of the player's childhood home.
- Trees have been revised completely with new sprites.
- 3D Audio Emitters are placed at key points of interest, such as the train and river to the north.
Known Issues
- Debug elements, such as the State Machine state and other debug menus, are present. These will be disabled in future builds.
- There are some layering errors with certain interactable objects and buildings.
- Saving is not enabled.
- The Exit Game button on the main menu does not function.
- Input prompt keys do not display.
- Sometimes after opening the Inventory, the button for opening the Inventory screen has focus. When using an equipped tool (Space) the Inventory may open.
