Hello fellow chosters, I would like to discuss something very important to me. About five months ago I started a GoFundMe to seek help with my medical transition. I will be giving details below, but in short, it would mean the world to me if anyone who sees this would share it anywhere they can. If you choose to donate any amount at all, you have my sincere thanks.
About Me
I am a 32 year old trans woman living in the US. Trans care here is almost all prohibitively expensive, and I am unemployed and therefore lack insurance. I am also autistic, and have a history of depression. I have worked a variety of jobs over the years, and almost all of them have been devastating to my mental health. It is exceedingly difficult for me to find work that doesn't put me in a dangerous depressive state. I came out as trans about a year and a half ago, and it has been life changing. I have been happier than at any point in my life, but also have introduced new stresses and sources of anxiety.
I want to be as honest about my circumstances as possible. I have a place to live. I am not in danger of starving, or becoming homeless in the immediate future. Nevertheless, I have no money of my own. This fundraiser is realistically the only way I can move forward with my transition.
About This Fundraiser
There are further details on the GFM page itself, but here is an outline. This fundraiser is being used to pay for my Laser Hair Removal treatments. I was cursed to be born with a lot of unwanted body hair, and it has been a source of dysphoria for me for my entire adult life.
I am posting now specifically because my aesthetician is running a discount in the month of December. Any treatments I can pay for before the end of the month will cost significantly less than otherwise. Within the GFM update post, you can find a breakdown of how much I need in light of the discount. There was a previous discount back in September, and the concerted efforts of my friends and close family gave me enough to extend my treatments. I do not expect to get those same results now, but any contribution at all will mean the world to me.

As an aside, if you are curious, I am on HRT. I was exceptionally lucky to gain access to a free clinic that provides me with hormones, paid for by a federal program. Most trans folks are not so fortunate, and I am thankful every day that I found them. That is why I am not asking for help paying for hormones within this fundraiser.
