I enjoy playing ttrpgs with my friends, but I have never GMed one. I've always wanted to, but could never work up the motivation to commit. To do all the necessary prep, and be the center of attention for several hours at a time. But always there were ideas floating around my head, cool stuff that I really wanted to try.

I've finally had a dumb idea that I don't think I can escape. I've been thinking about it since yesterday, and it launched me into a fever of prep work. I can't get it out of my head, and I am being compelled to actually pitch it to my friends and make the commitment.

It's called Goblintown.

in reply to @Mentat-Emulator's post:

Goblintown is the part of town where the goblins live.
Goblintown takes place centuries after the Dark Lord has fallen, and the people of the realm are living in peace a harmony. The King has decreed that all peoples shall be welcome in The Great City.
The thing is, men and elves don't really care for goblins. Or orcs, or any of the other people who once served darkness.
So Goblintown exists.
Goblintown is about to enter a time of civil turmoil.
Goblintown is about institutional racism.

If this game Goes Places I will probably talk about it more.
