And according to a PC Gamer article, an interview with Tim Sweeney claims that the first Gears of War cost around $12 million to develop, which yeah, I guess I could see that. But then he claims Gears of War: Judgment cost around $60 million to develop...and as I'm nearing the end of Judgment, I uh...I have a hard time believing that statement.
Was most of that marketing? Because I feel like I heard about that game less than any of the previous Gears games. New tech? Because all the levels in Judgment are significantly more condensed compared to previous games as well. And a lot of it feels like stuff recycled from at least Gears of War 3. I have no idea what about this game cost $60 million to develop.
