I feel like this is more of a statement of how SPAs are abused and how corporations are incentivised to put loading placeholder texts in interfaces because research has shown that it makes users wait longer. I think loading placeholders are the worst.
I use SPAs in my websites (personal, mutant emoji) because I find the language I use to write them in to be far more modular and maintainable than traditional static methods of website creation, but they compile really small so loading is very fast, and they don't do shitty UI tricks like this.
