TVs should be produced in ISO 216-style sizes, with an aspect ratio of √2:1

so you can rotate them 90 degrees and split-screen them perfectly

there should also be an option for √3:1 for ultrawide monitors, and it should all be a power of 2 and we would have the perfect monitor

Honestly, this is just a good take

Standardised paper sizes are incredibly useful for a lot of things and 2:1 is a good aspect ratio for productivity
