In the professional opinion of both electricians and now a plumber, this ancient mess can't be fixed. So we're going to have to have it replaced at great expense tomorrow... 😔
Thankfully there is somewhere I can at least have a shower this evening (I'm stinky) but like... Gosh darn it I'm sick of dealing with issues in this house already aaaaaaa
