SCP-104-111-110-107-J is a virulant cognitohazard manifesting in the form of a genre of music. Instances of SCP-104-111-110-107-J are designated SCP-104-111-110-107-J-1.

The first known instance appeared in the documented record in 190▓, coinciding with Miller Reese Hutchison's invention of the modern automobile horn, in the form of SCP-104-111-110-107-J-0 "Klaxxon Ragtime".

Another massive outbreak occurred in 1928, coinciding with the release of George Gershwin's An American in Paris, which contains an arrangement involving "taxi horns". Four Parisian taxi horns, of which 4 were brought to New York by Gershwin himself. The resulting CK-class Reality Restructuring Scenario has left little in the way of reliable records as to how the outbreak was contained. Modern performances of An American in Paris continue to be monitored by the Foundation, though no anomalous effects have been observed. Three of the four original Gershwin horns remain in Foundation custody as SCP-104-111-110-107-J-A, SCP-104-111-110-107-J-B, SCP-104-111-110-107-J-C. Public displays and private collectors have Foundation-made replicas and are continually monitored. SCP-104-111-110-107-J-D's whereabouts are unknown.

In October 2023 the Foundation was made aware of a small social media network Coh▓▓▓ where a post had been circulating for several weeks referring to a fictitious genre of music called "Love Honk" which user silv▓▓▓▓▓▓s reported came to them in a dream. This is the first time that a potential origin of SCP-104-111-110-107-J has reached the attention of the Foundation. Research into any possible journals or letters containing the dreams of Hutchison and Gershwin is ongoing. The 2023 instance has been designated SCP-104-111-110-107-J-2023 "Love Honk".

The Foundation believed that the outbreak was contained as it would not reach a critically large simultaneous listener count and SCP-104-111-110-107-J-2023 would fade away on its own, after which Foundation agents would surreptitiously invoke a "database error" during routine site maintenance which would result in the loss of the recordings from public access.

Unfortunately in December 2023 the Foundation realized that SCP-104-111-110-107-J-2023 "Love Honk" had already broken containment and was turning up on the site formerly known as ▓▓▓▓▓er as well as Inst▓▓▓▓ and several other major social media sites and apps.

Foundation agents are working around the clock to contain this outbreak. Without details of previous mitigation efforts and patient-0 infection vectors the current outlook is pessimistic. Preparation for another CK-class Reality Restructuring Scenario are underway.

There is a theory that previous instances were never resolved by the Foundation or its predecessors. It is possible that the world we live in today is the result of the original "Klaxxon Ragtime" outbreak. It would certainly explain the anomalous hostile automobile-centric infrastructure of North America - where all major outbreaks have begun or taken hold.
