I can admire it now—knowing I’m not there anymore. It’s interesting that the state of people-less-ness is maintained despite the obvious evidence of people having been in this place relatively recently. Maybe people-less-ness is more of a feeling than anything else and my presence—so long as it’s the only human presence—doesn’t destroy a space’s state of people-less-ness.

It’s just wonderful to look at an area and see no one, nor any space where someone might be hiding. It’s beautiful. Unfortunately, my mere presence in this place destroys its people-less-ness. It’s nice to know that—as I am not there—this space remains people-less.
