Threads isn't launching in the EU, almost definitely because of the EU's data protection laws.
If that Red Flag was any bigger you could roll it out and use it as a carpet at movie premieres

tbh a big part of this is that Jack Dorsey's too much of a kook to inspire genuine menace. my fav Dorsey belief is that his principled stand against NFTs is because he's specifically a bitcoin maximalist
